I had the privilege of leading the design for Netflix Bites, Netflix’s culinary space located in Las Vegas. This project celebrated the opening of their unique restaurant, serving up iconic eats and drinks inspired by Netflix series, such as Squid Game, Bridgerton, and Stranger Things.
The branding for Netflix Bites was designed to evoke a strong and vivid presence, using bold colors and dynamic contrasts to reflect the energy and creativity of the culinary world. Following the client’s vision, I maintained a clean and minimal design approach to ensure the messaging for the launch remained clear and impactful.
For the website, I introduced playful animations and transitions to elevate user engagement. Interactive features such as bite-inspired animations—where elements appeared to be “bitten off” the screen—created a delightful and memorable experience for visitors. This touch of whimsy aligned with the restaurant's branding while making the scrolling experience fun and immersive.
Through a balance of simplicity and creativity, this project not only captured the essence of Netflix Bites but also delivered an engaging digital platform that resonated with its audience.
I designed a motion flow for the teaser site and prototyped it in Figma to serve as both a reference for stakeholders and a clear handoff for developers. Throughout the process, I introduced fresh animation ideas and refined page transitions to create a more engaging user experience. I also proposed a marquee-style horizontal animation for the reservation CTA, fixed at the top to maximise visibility, as it was the most important element. The concept helped spark discussion on high-impact interaction design and user engagement.

I contributed to the full site experience, particularly the menu design and motion exploration, right up until my last day. Since we didn’t yet have a final copy or imagery at the time, I explored and tested different layout variations for the menu to provide the client with multiple design options. My focus also included crafting scroll-triggered animations and finding ways to keep users engaged throughout the page. Additionally, I introduced a fixed tab navigation, enabling users to quickly jump between sections without the need for endless scrolling, which improved overall usability and flow.
